Sofia Municipality's fund for supporting talented children in the fields of culture, arts, science, education and sports will finance their participation in international competitions and provide scholarships for studies in Bulgaria and abroad. It will begin operating at the end of spring next year.
"In addition to creating the fund, we will work to improve the overall infrastructure and facilities so that children can discover their talents, and the municipality will help them further develop this talent", said Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev.
The fund will establish expert councils in all fields. Proven experts will assist the Board of Directors in selecting projects.
