The Speaker of the Bulgarian National Assembly Natalia Kiselova spoke with the US Ambassador to Bulgaria Kenneth Merten.

Kiselova expressed condolences to the relatives of the US citizens who died during the devastating fires in Los Angeles. She also expressed gratitude to the director and staff of the Getty Villa Museum for the necessary measures taken to protect the exhibits from the exhibition "Ancient Thrace and the Classical World: Treasures from Bulgaria, Romania and Greece" from the fires in Los Angeles.
According to the Speaker of the National Assembly, her meeting with the US Ambassador in Sofia is a natural continuation of the active political dialogue between Bulgaria and the US at the highest level. "I am glad that we can discuss the priority issues of our bilateral cooperation and I hope that our strategic partnership will continue," added Natalia Kiselova.
