Bulgaria has no errors in the absorption of EU funds in agriculture and natural resources for 2023, according to the annual report of the European auditors. The report was commented at a joint meeting of Agriculture Minister Georgi Tahov and Bulgarian member of the European Court of Auditors Iliana Ivanova.

The error rate at European level is 2.2%, but no errors were found for Bulgaria in the audited period, the press centre of the agriculture ministry said.

According to Minister Tahov, the assessment of the European Court of Auditors is a recognition of the work of the Bulgarian institutions and their efforts for efficient spending of EU funds. During the audited period, Georgi Tahov was Executive Director of the Agriculture State Fund, which as a paying agency is directly responsible for the absorption of EU funds in agriculture.
