Beautiful Bilyana - the new BG ethno house song of DEEP ZONE project

DEEP ZONE Project are ready with their latest BG ethno house project - "Hubava Bilyana" (Beautiful girl Bilyana), in which they once again combine modern electronic dance music with original folk-based motifs, as always with love for Bulgaria.

The collaboration between DEEP ZONE Project and singers Lidiya and Bisera dates back to their previous joint song "Nesto po-taka" (Something a little bit cooler"), again combining dance with original music inspired by Bulgarian folklore. The song was received so well that they decided to have a sequel - thus their latest song "Hubava Bilyana" was born.

"Actually, it was born at the Pirin Folk festival in its original version as a traditional Bulgarian horo, but very melodious and with very nice lyrics (by Hristina Yosifova). As far as I understood, this song had won the audience award at the Pirin Folk festival. When I heard it, it really captivated me. I called Bisera and Lidiya to tell them that I would really like to work on our, Deep Zone version of this song and if it works out, if people like it – to make it official. I got the tracks from Ivan Yosifov, who is the original composer of the song. I worked for about two weeks, sent them the first demo - they really liked it. We immediately decided to make a video because it is really nice to pass on authentic Bulgarian folklore, combined with the spirit of modern times, to the new generations."

Dian Savov no longer even counts the songs from their BG Ethno House project – for him, the most important thing is not quantity, but quality – to build on themselves, to challenge themselves and to create even more interesting music, preserving traditions, but with the pulse of modernity.

Currently, the DEEP ZONE Project are working on new musical material - innovative projects, combining different styles. In it, they will offer us not only remixes, but also new original songs. Since this year the formation celebrates its quarter of a century, the musicians want to seal this stage of their career with their first vinyl double record with the best of DEEP ZONE Project. It will be released on February 14 and will collect their hits created over the years - from the beginning to the present moment.
