President Rumen Radev held a phone conversation with the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and other Western Balkan Regional Issues Miroslav Lajčák. President Radev expressed appreciation for the efforts made by Miroslav Lajčák towards the European integration of the Western Balkan countries and expressed hope that, in the near future, the leadership of the Republic of North Macedonia would show political will to implement the European consensus of 2022, namely the inclusion of Bulgarians in its constitution, which would open the path for the country to start negotiations for full EU membership.
