Enhanced fire fafety inspections to take place in tourist facilities across Bulgaria

Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh and Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov agreed to begin enhanced fire safety inspections of tourist facilities across the country due to the busy winter season. The tragic incident at the Turkish resort of Kartalkaya became the occassion for the working meeting of the two ministers. The focus of the inspections will be on the winter resorts.

"The safety of tourists, people working in the tourism sector and, in general, all Bulgarian and foreign guests in our resorts is of paramount importance", emphasized Minister Borshosh.
