Personnel and military equipment to be transported through the territory of Bulgaria between January 24 and February 9

Personnel and military equipment will be transported through the territory of Bulgaria between January 24 and February 9. The Ministry of Defense announced that the military will participate in NATO’s largest exercise for 2025, Steadfast Dart 25. About 10,000 troops from 9 allied countries - Bulgaria, France, Greece, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkiye and the United Kingdom participate at the exercise. The aim of the exercise is to test Allied Response Force capabilities, as well as the interoperability between participants and host countries.

Transportation of personnel and military equipment through the territory of Bulgaria is also envisaged in connection with the rotation of participants in the NATO Multinational Battle Group, with Italy as the framework nation, the Ministry of Defense reminded.
