The Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism is organizing a round table on the topic "Bulgaria in Schengen - Challenges and Opportunities for Tourism". The event is taking place today at the Hilton Hotel in Sofia. "Bulgaria's full membership in the Schengen area opens up new horizons for the tourism sector. The free movement of people is a prerequisite for increasing the tourist flow to our country, but at the same time it poses a number of challenges for business and institutions", the organizers said.

Along with the key challenges and opportunities, measures to ease the procedures for hiring workers from third countries in tourism will also be discussed in order to meet the sector's needs for qualified labor.
