Bulgarian-Albanian Business Chamber to support innovations in tourism, renewable energy and trade

The Bulgarian-Albanian Business Chamber (BABC) will support the connections between the Albanian and Bulgarian communities in the business sector, with the ambition to create a unique space that will link the diaspora with its roots. It will play an important role in the field of investment, as well as in supporting innovations in tourism, renewable energy and trade.

"This Chamber will serve as a bridge to unite ideas, businesses and entrepreneurs, while supporting the implementation of joint economic projects", said the Ambassador of Albania to Bulgaria H.E. Inid Milo. During the ceremony for the official opening of the Bulgarian-Albanian Business Chamber on January 27, the diplomat highly praised the commitment of its leaders- BABC Executive Director Ervis Taluri, and the Chamber’s co-chairman Ivan Anchev, founder of a consulting company specializing in the field of corporate security and marketing.


The opening ceremony was also attended by the Ambassador of Kosovo to Bulgaria H.E. Haxhi Bajraktari, the Ambassador of North Macedonia to Bulgaria H.E. Agneza Rusi Popovska, as well as other representatives of the diplomatic corps in Sofia, representatives from Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, prominent Albanian and Bulgarian businessmen, leaders of the American University in Bulgaria, members of the diaspora and the Albanian community in Bulgaria, Albanian students and others. 

The initiative promises development and innovation for the Bulgarian and Albanian communities.
