Bulgaria is presenting itself with a world record trophy for a wild boar from the Kormisosh State Hunting Farm at Europe's biggest trade fair for hunting and fishing Jagd & Hund taking place in Dortmund until February 2.

Every year, the event gathers thousands of hunting enthusiasts from all over the world in the Westfallenhallen exhibition center. A large part of the applications for organized hunting tourism in the 6 hunting farms of Bulgaria during the year are made in Dortmund.

At the Bulgarian stand prepared by the South Central State Enterprise in Smolyan using innovative technologies, trophies of hunting farms awarded with gold medals - from red deer, fallow deer, wild boar, mouflon and roe deer - are presented.

In recent years, Bulgaria has been strengthening its position as a preferred destination for hunting tourism, the Executive Forestry Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture reports.
