Bulgaria to host the largest NATO exercise of the year

From February 10 to 22, the largest NATO military exercise of the year, Steadfast Dart - 2025 (STDT25), will be held in the areas of the Tsrancha Training Center, the Charalitsa National Military Training Complex, the 22nd Air Base in Bezmer and the Burgas Naval Base.

The Alliance will test the deployment capabilities of the Allied Response Force (ARF) on the territory of Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. 10,000 military personnel from 9 allied countries are involved - Bulgaria, France, Greece, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom, 17 ships, over 20 aircraft and helicopters, over 1,500 units of armored and combat equipment.

The exercise is planned by NATO's Supreme Allied Command Europe (SHAPE) and is conducted by NATO's Joint Force Command in Naples (JFCNP).
