NSI: Bulgaria exports less, imports more from third countries

In 2024, Bulgaria's exports of goods to third countries decreased by 5.1% compared to 2023, amounting to EUR 15.4 billion (30 114.9 million BGN), according to data from the National Statistical Institute (NSI).

Bulgaria's main trading partners outside the EU are Turkey, the USA, Serbia, North Macedonia, the United Kingdom, China and Egypt, accounting for 47.9% of total exports to third countries. 

Imports, on the other hand, increased by 6.9% to 21.3 billion euro (41 603.0 million BGN). The highest import values came from Turkey, China, Ukraine and Serbia.
