Spanish writer Ana Andreu Baquero is coming to Bulgaria to present her novel "The Princess of Buchenwald", the Cervantes Institute, which is organising the event with the Hermes publishing house, announced.

The presentation of the book is scheduled for today at 6.30pm at the Peroto Club, NDK. The book traces the life of the Italian princess Mafalda of Savoy from the finest palaces of Europe to the Buchenwald concentration camp, where she was sent after her capture on her return from Bulgaria - from the funeral of her brother-in-law, King Boris III. At the risk of being captured by the Nazis, Mafalda is determined to reach Nazi-occupied Rome to be reunited with her children. It is a decision that will determine her fate.
