During the weekend temperatures will vary widely above and below zero

On Saturday the weather will continue cold, predominantly sunny with a temporary increase of mid and high clouds. There will be fog before midday in some parts in the lowlands. There will be a light wind from the East, in the Eastern part of the country the wind will be moderate, from the North. Temperatures will vary widely, from a minimum of minus 15° C., - minus 17° C., to minus 6° C.-minus 8° C. in parts of Southern Bulgaria and the Black Sea coastline. 


Maximum temperatures minus 2° C.-minus3° C. in Northeastern Bulgaria, to 6°-7° C., in the Southwest.


Over the mountains the weather will be predominantly sunny with a moderate wind from the North, the wind will be strong on the highest mountain tops. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around minus 3° C., at 2,000 m. around minus 10° C.


Over the Black Sea coast the weather will be predominantly sunny. There will be significant clouds over the Southernmost portion of the Black Sea coastline where there will be light snow. There will be a moderate to strong Northerly wind. Maximum temperatures zero to 3° C., temperature of the sea water 4-6° C., sea state 3-4.
