Protest against the euro will be held in Sofia today

The patriots from Vazrazhdane parliamentary party and civil organizations against Bulgaria's accession to the Eurozone have announced a protest for today. They call for a wide public debate on the consequences from the introduction of the euro.

The protesters will gather at 12:00 p.m. in front of the building of the Bulgarian National Bank. At a press conference this week, the formation stated that they were ready to take "extreme action" to preserve the Bulgarian lev.
