Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 23 February 2025

Sunny but cold Sunday expected in Bulgaria

It will be cold with minimum temperatures between minus 14°C and minus 9°C, in places in the northeastern regions up to minus 16°C, for Sofia - around minus 9°C.

On Sunday it will be mostly sunny. Before noon in some places in the plains and valleys visibility will be reduced. A light to moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. 

Maximum temperatures will be between minus 2°C and 3°C, in the southwestern regions up to 6°C-7°C, for Sofia - around 2°C.

In the mountains it will be mostly sunny, with temporary increases in cloudiness, medium and high, over the massifs of Western Bulgaria. A moderate wind will blow, on the highest peaks a strong wind from the north-northwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around minus 5°C, at 2,000 meters - around minus 10°C.

Sunny weather will prevail along the Black Sea coast. Moderate winds will blow from the north-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be 0°C-1°C.
