The most prestigious local government forum in the Balkans, B40, will take place in Sofia between February 24 and 25. The theme of the meeting in Sofia is "The Future of the Balkans: Innovation, Cooperation, Green Transition and Growth" and the focus of Bulgaria's presidency of the initiative is on partnerships between cities in the context of the European Union’s enlargement, the organizers announced.
The official start of the forum will be on Monday with the handover of the B40 presidency, with Sofia taking over the presidency of the initiative, replacing Tirana.
