With 13 votes "in favor" and 2 votes "against" – those of Georgi Bahanov and Dimitar Dimitrov from GERB's quota – the Central Election Commission approved the recalculation of the election results from the parliamentary elections held in October 2024, as requested by the Constitutional Court. "Some MPs who have already been elected and announced as such will have to leave their seats and others will take their place", Georgi Bahanov commented.
