Costs of employers for salaries have gone up by 13 %

In the forth quarter of 2024 compared to the forth quarter of 2023, total costs of employers in Bulgaria per hour of work of employed persons have risen by 12.8 %, show NSI data. 


The highest rise in overall costs for labour is registered in the economic sectors of Operations with Real Estate and Other Activities - by 23,5 % and Culture, Sport and Entertainment by 22.1 %. 


In the industry the increase is by 11.5 %, in services - 13.1%, and in construction - 17.3%.
