Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 28 March 2025

Lower temperatures and rain expected in Bulgaria on Friday

On Friday, it will rain again in many places. Cloudy skies will develop in the afternoon and the precipitation will be accompanied by thunderstorms. They will be more significant in quantity in the central and northern regions. There will be a moderate, and in the Danube Plain a temporarily strong wind from the east-northeast. The minimum temperatures will be between 6°C and 11°C, in Sofia - about 8°C

Daytime highs on Friday will drop to 12°C-17°C, in Sofia - about 13°C.

In the mountains it will be cloudy with frequent rain showers, in places above 2,000 m - mainly snow. A moderate and strong southeasterly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be about 8°C, at 2,000 m - about 2°C.

Over the Black Sea coast, the cloudiness will be significant with precipitation. Maximum temperatures will be between 11°C and 14°C.

In places in the Balkans, precipitation will be significant. In the eastern regions and in the Aegean Sea, it will be windy. Temperatures will slightly decrease.

In Athens and Istanbul it will be 20°C, in Bucharest – 15°C, in Belgrade – 14°C.
