Rain to continue into the weekend

Saturday will be cloudy with cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds, especially in the afternoon. Rain will fall in many places, with thunderstorms in some areas. Winds will be moderate west-northwest. Maximum temperatures will be between 14° and 19°C, around 15°C in Sofia.


Over the mountains, cloudiness will be variable, often significant. Rain and snow will fall in many places above 1,700 m in the afternoon. Short thunderstorms are possible. Winds will be moderate to strong from west-northwest. The maximum temperature will be around 8°C at 1,200 metres and around 0°C at 2,000 metres.


Along the Black Sea coast there will be sunny spells before noon, but clouds will cover the sky later in the afternoon and there will be light rain in places. There will be moderate winds from west-northwest. Maximum temperatures will be between 13° and 16°C. The sea water temperature will be 9°-10°.
