Ukraine invites Bulgarian foreign minister to visit Kyiv on May 9

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha had a telephone conversation with his Bulgarian counterpart Georg Georgiev. The two discussed steps to achieve a just peace and ways to develop mutually beneficial cooperation. The Ukrainian first diplomat wrote this on the social network “X”, BTA reported.

"I am grateful that Bulgaria remains steadfast in its support for Ukraine and our efforts to achieve peace. I informed my Bulgarian colleague about the recent diplomatic steps aimed at moving closer to a just and lasting peace,” Sybiha wrote. “I reiterated my invitation to my colleague to take part in the visit of EU foreign ministers to Ukraine on May 9,” the Ukrainian foreign minister added.
