Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 2 May 2025

Warm weather, rain showers in the afternoon expected on Sunday

On Friday, minimum temperatures will be from 5 to 10°C. In Sofia, it will be around 5°C. Sunny weather will prevail during the day. Cumulus clouds will develop in the afternoon and in places, again mainly in the mountainous regions of Western and Central Bulgaria, short-term rain will fall. 


Maximum temperatures will be between 21 and 26°C, in the capital it will be around 21°C.

In the mountains before noon it will be mostly sunny, in the afternoon cumulus and cumulus-rainy clouds will develop and in places in the massifs of Western and Central Bulgaria it will rain and thunder. A moderate to strong northeasterly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 m. will be around 14°, at 2000 meters - around 5°.

Along the Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny, after noon there will be temporary increases in cloudiness, but there will be no precipitation. A moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. Maximum air temperatures will be between 13 and 15°C. Sea water temperature is 12-14°C. 

On Saturday it will be mostly sunny. Cumulus clouds will develop in the afternoon. Minimum temperatures will be between 7° and 12°C, and daytime temperatures will rise.

It will be sunny in the Balkans. More significant temporary increases in the area will be mainly over the mountains of the central and eastern regions. In places there will be precipitation.

In Athens it will be 23°C, in Bucharest it will be 24°C, in Belgrade 27°C is expected, in Istanbul it will be up to 19°C.
