Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh and Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), have officially signed the agreement for Bulgaria to host the 9th Global Conference on Wine Tourism, organized by UN Tourism. The forum will take place in Plovdiv on October 6 and 7.

"We expect the event to bring together delegations from around the world and to affirm Bulgaria as a preferred tourist destination on the global map. For us, this is a strategic opportunity not only to present our country as a wine destination, but also to connect wine with the wide range of tourist experiences that Bulgaria offers — from mountain and adventure tourism to cultural, culinary and urban tourism”, said Minister Borshosh after signing the agreement at the headquarters of the UN Tourism in Madrid.
