Open doors day in Sofia Library on Librarian Day

The Sofia Library will celebrate Librarian's Day, May 9, with an Open Doors Day, the organizers announced. A literary reading with a musical program will be held on Slaveykov Square. The library will show visitors two photo-documentary exhibitions.

"The Sofia Library Tells a Story" is about the book heritage of Sofia and the valuable publications of prominent Bulgarian public figures and writers who worked as librarians. The other exhibition focuses on local history and shows the most significant municipal and community center libraries from the Sofia region
