Anti-drone systems to be installed at Bulgarian airports

The installation of anti-drone systems at airports in Bulgaria will begin in the coming months. During today's parliamentary control meeting in the National Assembly, Transport Minister Grozdan Karadzhov announced that the Civil Aviation Administration Directorate General has ordered the installation of anti-drone systems to protect all airports in the country.

Karadzhov pointed out that a bill was submitted to parliament back in April, which prohibits the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in certain places. Two regulations are planned, and a review of international experience in taking measures on the Bulgarian side to protect airports has also been made, noted Minister Karadzhov.
