As part of the national campaign of the Ministry of Education and Science "Just Say No", Minister Krasimir Valchev explained to high school students from Stara Zagora the harm of drug use, BNT reported.
The purpose of the discussion is to prevent the increased cases of use of vaping, designer drugs and other narcotic substances among adolescents. According to Minister Valchev, "the education system alone cannot counteract the spread of narcotic substances, but it can create internal beliefs and attitudes in children to reject them".

Krasimir Valchev emphasized that the most important thing is for students to be able to say "no".

Precisely because the topic remains difficult to discuss in the family, the Ministry of Education will train all teachers in the system to talk to children. Thus, the trained teachers will be able to create internal barriers in children. It is also planned that all teachers who have undergone such training will conduct thematic parent meetings.
