Bulgaria's accession to the eurozone will help the country's economic development. According to the European Commissioner for Economy Valdis Dombrovskis, quoted by BNT, it is time for the country to take advantage of all the benefits associated with adopting the euro. When asked if there was anything that could delay the report, he replied that the commission and the ECB continue to work on its preparation and it is planned to complete the report in early June, the BNR correspondent in Brussels reported.

In response to a question from BNR, Eurogroup President Paschal Donohoe indicated that "from previous enlargements of the eurozone, we see that membership in it provides greater financial stability, better resilience and a stronger voice for its members."
