It is still unclear whether the transport blockade in Sofia will continue on Friday

Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev met with the transport unions, representatives of the protesting employees of the capital's public transport for the second day, who are demanding a salary increase. The meeting ended without reaching an agreement. However, there is an idea for the dialogue to continue on Monday. The unionists promised to do everything possible to agree with the protesters that there will be no transport blockades in Sofia on Friday.
The decision will become clear later this evening.

And today, citizens relied solely on the metro, their cars, bicycles or moved around on foot.

Earlier today, the protesters threatened that if their demands are not heard, the Sofia subway could also stop on the third day of the protest.
