Rain showers and slightly rising temperatures

Most of the country will see sunshine before noon on Wednesday. In the afternoon, cumulus clouds will form in many areas, bringing rain. There will be moderate and occasionally strong north-westerly winds. Maximum temperatures will range from 19°C to 24°C; in Sofia, it will be around 19°C.


Over the mountains, there will be variable cloud cover, often significant, with short showers of rain and, above 2200 metres, snow. A strong north-westerly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 11°C, and at 2,000 metres around 5°C.


Along the Black Sea coast, it will be partly cloudy, particularly in the afternoon and in the north. There will be some short rain showers in places. A moderate north-westerly wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will range between 18°C and 22°C, and sea temperatures will be between 15°C and 18°C. Sea conditions will be around 2 on the Beaufort scale.
