Minister Zafirov: The capitals of Bulgaria and Tajikistan should have direct air connection

The need for a direct air connection Sofia - Dushanbe, the specific steps for its implementation, as well as the expansion of exports from Bulgaria to Tajikistan were discussed by Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov at meetings in the Tajik capital, the government press service reported, quoted by BTA.

Atanas Zafirov pointed out that Bulgarian companies are interested in projects in the spheres of transport, energy and digital infrastructure and in light industry. In addition, Bulgaria can expand the export of a number of goods such as equipment for the food industry, agricultural machinery, lifting and handling equipment, cash registers, refrigeration equipment, clothing, footwear.

The hosts have shown interest in the opportunities for investment in Bulgaria as a gateway to EU markets, the development of tourist connections, the increase in mutual trade and the export of raw materials and minerals.
