Bulgaria's Valentina Georgieva wins silver in vault final at the European Gymnastics championship in Leipzig

Valentina Georgieva defended her second place in the vault final of the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in the German city of Leipzig. The Bulgarian gymnast, who also placed second last year in Rimini, performed a great first vault, which earned her the highest score in the competition - 14.100 points. For the second series, Georgieva received a score of 13.700 and with 13.900 she came second, BNR "Horizont" reported.

The gold was won by the German Karina Schönmeier with 13.985 points
