Procedure for signing one-day employment contracts for agricultural work has been simplified

The procedure for filling out one-day employment contracts for work in agriculture is being simplified. After a change in the regulation, only the personal identification number and the three names of the hired worker, as well as the time of starting work, will be entered in them.

The restriction that a worker can be hired by only one farmer during the day is eliminated. He will be able to conclude a second one with another producer. This is a step to brighten up the economy, commented the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov, quoted by BNR reporter Tsvetelina Stoyanova. The changes will come into force after they are adopted by the government.

"This will greatly relieve colleagues from the rose and tobacco production. When they start work at 4 o'clock in the morning, there is no way for 200 people in the field to fill out the data in 2-3 hours. We were always in some kind of violation," commented a representative of agricultural producers, quoted by BTA.
