President Rumen Radev is on an official visit to Uzbekistan

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev is on an official visit to Uzbekistan. During the visit, the Bulgarian head of state and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will sign a joint statement on strengthening bilateral political dialogue and cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, connectivity, culture and educational exchange, the presidency announced. 

A cooperation program for the period 2026-2027 will also be signed between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries and a memorandum of understanding between the Municipality of Sofia and the Municipality of Tashkent. 

Radev will participate in the high-level panel of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be opened by the President of Uzbekistan. The event brings together investors from all over the world with the aim of promoting cooperation. 

During the visit, President Radev will also welcome participants in the Bulgarian-Uzbekistan Business Forum. 

Before Uzbekistan, the Bulgarian head of state was on an official visit to Kazakhstan.
