Heat and sunshine dominate the forecast for Midsummer Day

It will be a fine, almost quiet night. Tomorrow will be sunny and hot, particularly in the lowlands. A light wind will blow in from the west-northwest. Temperatures will reach highs of between 32°C and 37°C, with Sofia reaching around 32°C.


It will be sunny and warm in the mountains. There will be a moderate wind blowing from the west-northwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,000 metres will be around 30 °C and around 25 °C at 2,000 metres.


The Black Sea coast will be sunny, with light to moderate easterly winds in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures will range from 26°C to 30°C. The sea will be almost calm with a water temperature of 22–24 °C.
