The Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT) at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" presented five scientific papers at the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2025), the university's press center announced. Two of the papers are included in the main program of the conference, and three - in specialized scientific workshops.
INSAIT is the only Bulgarian institution with accepted materials in this year's edition of ICML, the oldest Bulgarian university notes.

The first article from the main program analyzes the possible undesirable consequences of applying artificial intelligence models in a practical environment. The study examines their impact on human behavior in areas such as financial decisions, personnel processes and social networks. The second publication presents a new system for testing generative models, which aims to improve the capabilities of modern AI systems when working with logical and mathematical problems.
