Five productions with Bulgarian involvement will take part in the 31st edition of the Sarajevo Film Festival, which will be held from August 15 to 22.
"Yugo Florida" is the feature debut of Serbian director Vladimir Tagic. The co-production between Serbia, Bulgaria, France, Croatia and Montenegro is being backed by Bulgaria’s film production company Contrast Films. "In Hell With Ivo" is a documentary by Kristina Nikolova about the eccentric artist Ivo Dimchev, known for his provocative performances. The third film with Bulgarian participation is "9-Month Contract" by Georgian director Ketevan Vashagashvili. It is a co-production between Georgia, Germany and Bulgaria, which is represented by Agitprop. The other two Bulgarian-backed titles are short films: "Letters" by director Aysel Küçüksu and "Eraserhead in a Knitted Shopping Bag" by director Lili Koss.
The selected films were chosen from among 1,036 submissions, 195 of which were feature films.
