A quarter of voters in Bulgaria continue to support the first political force GERB-SDS, which maintains a significant lead over the other political parties, according to data from a survey published today by the "Gallup International Balkan" sociological agency. The other two formations in the government majority, BSP and ITN, receive 7.9% and 5.3% respectively.
DPS - New Beginning holds second position with 17.6%, while "Vazrazhdane" are third in the ranking with 13.2%. PP-DB follow with 12.6% support. MECH have 6.1%, "Velichie" have 4.1%, and the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms have just 1.4% support due to the split among DPS voters.
Support for President Rumen Radev has dropped to 38.7%, while trust in Vice President Iliana Iotova has fallen to 29%. The approval rating for Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov has increased to 27.4%, while that for the Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova is 14.3%.
