From August 19 to September 2, an extraordinary exhibition will be presented at the Open-Air Gallery of Sofia Municipality – Crystal Garden. The exhibition features 26 panels with visual stories created by people with mental health difficulties and disorders. Each panel tells a personal story of endured suffering, battles with invisible difficulties, as well as dreams, hopes and the pursuit of a better life.
The exhibition, titled ''Welcome to My World'', is organized by the ''Institute for the Study of Change'' and is part of the organization’s efforts to give visibility and a human face to people with mental health issues. Through the means of art, 26 individuals with mental health difficulties share their inner truth, often silenced by stigma and misunderstanding.
The opening is today at 6:30 PM. Admission is free of charge.
