Eurostat: Annual inflation in Bulgaria in July is 3.4%

Inflation in the EU in July reached 2.4% on an annual basis, according to Eurostat data. Regarding Bulgaria, European statistics report an increase in inflation to 3.4% in July this year compared to the same month last year. According to this indicator, Bulgaria ranks 10th among the 27 EU members. Monthly inflation in Bulgaria for July compared to June is 1.4%, Eurostat also reports. The dynamics of inflation in Bulgaria shows a peak of 4% in March, a drop to 2.8% in May, after which a gradual increase begins.

BTA specifies that according to the Consumer Price Index, the annual inflation in Bulgaria for July is 5.3%, and the monthly inflation is 1.7%, as reported last week by the National Statistical Institute.
