On August 27 (Wednesday), the summer stage "Maimunarnika" in Borisova Gradina park in Sofia will be illuminated by the magic of Bulgarian folklore. The world-famous female choir "The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices" will perform an unforgettable concert under the stars starting at 7:00 p.m.

"The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices" are a true national treasure and ambassadors of Bulgarian culture around the world. With their unique polyphonic singing and unearthly harmony, they have been conquering the hearts of the audience for decades, winning ovations on the most prestigious world stages. Each of their performances is an exciting journey through time and Bulgarian traditions.

The choir was founded in 1952 on the idea of the long-time editor-in-chief of the "Folklore Music" editorial office at the Bulgarian National Radio, Georgi Boyadzhiev. The person who introduced the ensemble's performances to the world is Marcel Cellier - a Swiss instrumentalist, ethnomusicologist and music producer.
