The government’s Eurozone campaign is not propaganda, Minister of Finance Temenuzhka Petkova told journalists in Burgas, where the national information campaign dedicated to Bulgaria's accession to the Eurozone was launched.
The goal of the campaign — organized by the Ministry of Finance and the Bulgarian National Bank — is to provide citizens with clear, detailed and reliable information related to the main stages and timelines of the euro adoption process.
''With this campaign, we want to be close to the people and provide accurate, objective and clear answers to all the questions that concern Bulgarian society. Bulgarian citizens should know that the Bulgarian National Bank will convert leva to euro indefinitely, at the fixed exchange rate of 1.95583, and without any fees'', said Temenuzhka Petkova.
