Job offers increase seasonally, there is a decline on an annual basis

The demand for employees increased by 5% in August, or by over 1,700 more offers compared to July, one of the largest HR companies in Bulgaria reported to BTA. But on an annual basis there is a decline of 7%, or by 3,100 offers.

The "Trade and Sales" sector offers 26% of the announced free positions. Of the personnel sought 21 percent of the vacancies are in the "Production" sector,  in "Hotel and Restaurant" there are 15 percent, in "Logistics and Transport" 14 percent, in "Administrative and Service Activities" 11 percent. 

The demand for people in the IT sectors remains unchanged at 6%, "Construction" at 6%, "Healthcare and Pharmacy" at 5%, "Accounting and Finance" at 5%, "Marketing and Advertising" at 3% and "Art" at 1%.

40% of job offers are for Sofia, 10% from Plovdiv, 9% from Varna, 5% from Burgas, and 3% from Ruse and Stara Zagora.
