On Friday, the lowest temperatures will range from 15°C to 22°C, 16°C in Sofia. During the day, the cloud cover will often be significant. Cumulonimbus clouds will develop around and after noon. There will be brief showers in many areas. Intense and significant rainfall is expected around the central portion of the Balkan Range and the Rhodope Mountains. Thunderstorms are also expected. In Eastern Bulgaria, there will be a light easterly wind. Maximum temperatures will be between 23°C and 25°C, reaching up to 31°C in Northeastern Bulgaria, around 25°C in the far Southwestern areas and Sofia.
Along the northern Black Sea coast, it will be mostly cloudy with rain showers. There will be variable cloudiness over the southern Black Sea coast. Rain is expected in some places around and after noon. There will be a light easterly wind. Daytime highs will be between 24°C and 26°C. The sea water temperature is 24–25°C. Sea state 2-3 on the Beaufort scale.
In the mountains, cloud cover will be significant. Rain is expected in many areas, more abundant in the central portion of the Balkan Range and the Rhodope Mountains. Thunderstorms are expected mainly in these areas. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be around 20°C, at 2,000 m around 13°C.
On Saturday, maximum temperatures will be between 25°C and 30°C. There will be moderate easterly and northeasterly winds. Cloud cover will be variable, more often significant in Western Bulgaria. Rain is expected mainly in the mountains.
