There is a huge increase in the import of workers from third countries. We are heading towards 50,000 by the end of the year. The shortage of personnel is constant. This is what Georgi Parvanov - an expert in Human Resources, a member of the board of the Bulgarian Association for People Management and the Bulgarian Employment Confederation, told the Bulgarian National Radio.
"Most likely, next year we will see people from third countries helping in schools, hospitals and other places," Parvanov said and added that there was also shortage of personnel in Sofia's public transport.
“Since I have been working in human resources, I have not seen such a return of Bulgarians from abroad. We see it every day. The most sought-after ones - service personnel, operators, workers, are not returning yet, but in the middle expert segment and in the highest, the wave is huge," the expert also pointed out.
