The film “Made in EU”, directed by Stephan Komandarev, won the Golden Rose Award for Best Feature Film at the Golden Rose Bulgarian Feature Film Festival in Varna. According to the jury, it is an uncompromising work that, in addition to reflecting the spirit of contemporary Bulgaria, narrow-mindedness, fear and submission, also inspires hope in young people.

''Made in EU'' also received the Youth Jury Award. The Special Jury Award went to ''Tarika'' by director Milko Lazarov, which is Bulgaria’s official submission for the 98th Academy Awards. ''Tarika'' also won the Best Music Award (Penka Kuneva), the Best Cinematography Award (Kaloyan Bozhilov) and the Critics Guild Awards. The Best Actor Award went to Stoyan Doychev for his role in ''Eternity Package'', while the Best Actress Award was given to Gergana Pletnyova for her performance in ''Made in EU''.
