Temperatures will drop noticeably toward the end of the week

Over the next 24 hours, cloud cover will be mostly significant. There will be rain showers in some areas of Western Bulgaria and the far southeastern regions. A light to moderate wind will blow during the night.

On Friday, there will be strong easterly and northeasterly winds in Eastern Bulgaria. The lowest temperatures will range between 10°C and 15°C, around 12°C in Sofia. Maximum temperatures will range between 18°C and 23°C, around 18°C in the capital city.

Along the Black Sea coast, cloud cover will be variable, more significant along the southern portion of the coastline, where rain showers are expected in some places. There will be strong easterly and northeasterly winds. Daytime highs will range between 19°C and 22°C. The seawater temperature will be between 22°C and 23°C. Sea state 3–4 on the Beaufort scale.

Cloudy weather with rain is expected in the mountains, and in the highest parts of Rila and Pirin, there will be rain and snow. There will a moderate to strong easterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 13°C, at 2000 meters – around 7°C.
