Weather in Bulgaria on 27 September 2025

Drop in temperatures, cloudy skies, rain expected in Bulgaria over the weekend

On Saturday, the minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will be from 8 to 13C, in Sofia – 10C. During the day, cloudy weather will prevail. Rain is expected in the southwestern regions. A moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. 


Maximum temperatures on Saturday will be from 16 to 21C, in the capital - around 16C.

Along the Black Sea coast there will be variable cloudiness with precipitation. Maximum air temperatures will be 19 - 20C, sea water is 22-23C. 

In the mountains it will be cloudy. In places in the massifs of Western Bulgaria it will rain, in the highest parts of Rila and Pirin Mountains rain and snow is expected. A moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. will be around 11C, at 2,000 m. - around 6C.

On Sunday, temperatures will drop further with lows between 7 and 12C and highs between 16 and 21C. It remains cloudy and mainly in places in Western Bulgaria and the southeastern regions there will be light precipitation.
