Sixty-six teams from Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Spain are taking part today in the off-road competition 'King of Trial 2025' near Kostinbrod, BTA reports. The race, which will take place in a stone quarry near the village of Gradets, will see competitors tackle some extremely tough obstacles.

Over the course of two days, participants will compete in five categories – "Original", "Standard", "Standard Plus", "Modified" and "Prototype" – depending on the degree of modification of their vehicles. Among them is the 2017 European champion, Spain's Sergio Mirallas.

'King of Trial 2025' forms part of the preparations by the Bulgarian organisers to host the European Trial Championship in 2027. After the awards ceremony, the event will conclude with a rock concert featuring the bands Atlas and B.T.R.
