The autumn edition of the 25th European Music Festival comes with unique violins and intriguing surprises

The European Music Festival held in Sofia offers several bright events for music lovers in the autumn series of its 25th edition. From mid-October to December 2, 2025, concerts with interesting programs and outstanding performers are coming up to the delight of music lovers.


The start is on October 12 at Sofia Live Club with a concert by BSO (Bingo Symphony Orchestra) – a formation of six prominent Bulgarian musicians, united by the idea of ​​discovering new horizons in art. In their debut at the festival, they include innovative classical, jazz and rock interpretations of iconic musical masterpieces.

The founder of the formation is guitarist Georgi Marinov, known for his experimental approach and love for classical music and movie hits. The group also includes violinist Orlin Tsvetanov from the Chamber Ensemble "Sofia Soloists", cellist Sofia Radilova from the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, drummer Stefan Goranov, pianist Mladen Taskov and bassist Evden Dimitrov, known for his participation in projects of popular Bulgarian performers such as Lyubo Kirov, Orlin Pavlov, Maria Ilieva and Preya.

On October 13, a curious ensemble will debut on the stage of the Central Military Club in Sofia: the percussion duo Agleya Kaneva - Alexander Vichev. The two 17-year-old musicians, graduates of the Plovdiv Music School "Dobrin Petkov", are already laureates of prestigious competitions and impress with exceptional technique, synchrony and energy.

The true culmination of the festival is coming with the Stradivarius Collection cycle, presenting the highest violin mastery. Soloists in the three concerts of the series are the magnificent Bulgarian violinists Mila Georgieva, Liya Petrova and Svetlin Rusev

In partnership with the Cantus Firmus Orchestra, they will play their special instruments – masterpieces of luthier art. The audience will have the opportunity to compare the sound of the three unique violins of the great master, learn curious facts from their history and understand the reason why they are so valuable.

The concerts from the Stradivarius Collection cycle will take place in the Bulgaria Concert Hall: on October 28 with soloist Mila Georgieva, on November 17 with the participation of Liya Petrova and on December 2 with the incredible Svetlin Roussev.

The European Music Festival is a holder of the Remarkable Arts Festival label and is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Sofia Municipality.
